Grinding Spindles for VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) are designed for machining of considerably larger and heavy work. These Spindles are used for bore grinding operations on Vertical turret lathes. These spindles are having in-built motor with front end shaft mounted angular contact bearings. These spindles can be made for 2 HP to 40 HP motor power depending upon the job specifications.

 

Capital's VTL Spindles are widely used on vertical and horizontal boring machines to grind jobs and for precision applications. Generally these Spindles are available in 700, 1400, & 2800 RPM with grease lubrication to bearings, The cooling provision to motor can be water cooled or air cooled depends upon the spindle's specification. However customized VTL Spindles can also be manufactured on request. CAPITAL is manufacturing VTL Spindles to permit low cost conversion from VTL to grinding machine. These grinding attachments are available in motorized and belt driven designs. Internal Grinding, External Grinding, Face or deep hole grinding process are possible on VTL and boring machines with these attachment. It saves the job resetting time on machines, achieve high grinding accuracy and best concentricity accuracy in single setting.
